I discovered Evora by accident while looking for options to explore Portugal. It’s a place full of History and worth a visit. Along with those historical stops, it also has very beautiful landmarks that look even more special from above. Flying in a hot air balloon is really amazing and the mix of excitement and tranquility makes the investment worth it. The staff is super friendly and they speak several languages, which makes the trip more informative. Unfortunately the flight had to be very early for safety reasons but I would certainly do it again!

The highlight of our visit to Portugal

We had an amazing experience with Nelson, his balloon, and his crew. Because we were off-season, we had the balloon to ourselves, and what a ride it was! Up and over the old city at sunrise, then into the countryside, over an hour aloft, a relatively soft landing in a field, and some champagne to celebrate. All that and excellent company as well.

A magical experience

A hot air balloon ride over the Evora countryside was the perfect start to the day. Nelson collected us from our accommodation and took us to the balloon. He was calm and very professional which put any slight fears I had to rest. Once we were up I was spellbound…silently moving across the land with panoramic views of the countryside, the cork trees, cattle and sheep. I could have stayed up there forever. Once safely landed we were treated to a glass of Cava and some Belgian waffles….a perfect trip with the ultimate professional. Thank you Nelson and Isis for such a wonderful day
